No agenda

We're middle-ground by design. We chase the story, not a side — and we'll tell you when we're unsure.

Transparent

Every source gets a bias rating. Every poll shows its India vs UAE split. No quiet edits, no hidden hands.

👥

Community-driven

Your votes, reactions and comments shape what rises. The Peg is a conversation, not a lecture.

How the Bias-o-meter Works

Every news source we cite gets placed on a left → centre → right scale, so you can see where a story is coming from at a glance. We don’t invent these ratings — we aggregate two of the most respected independent media-bias raters, AllSides and Media Bias/Fact Check (MBFC), and plot the consensus.

The marker shows the source’s lean; the label spells it out in words. When raters disagree, we place the dot at the midpoint and say so. Here’s what it looks like on a real article:

Our goal isn’t to tell you who to trust — it’s to give you the context to decide. If you think we’ve mis-rated a source, tell us; we update ratings as the raters do.
