Jr NTR admits being nervous for Devara Part 1; reveals the film’s RRR connection

The trailer of Jr NTR’s upcoming film Devara Part 1 was launched today in Mumbai. The film features Jr NTR portraying two characters, the titular father and his son. Helmed by Koratala Siva, the film also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.

At the trailer launch of the film, Jr NTR said, “I’m very nervous because after RRR, this is my next film. RRR was with my co-actor Ram Charan. This is my solo release after six years. There is a lot of nervousness building up, but I’m very happy to launch the trailer of Devara in the city of Mumbai because the experience we had when we were promoting RRR was just surreal. I mean, the acceptance from the North has shocked us all, and I hope it repeats with Devara.”

He revealed that the film’s journey began when Koratala Siva narrated him the “phenomenal idea” before the release of RRR.
