Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly reacts after being booked for rape

According to reports and police sources, Sreya has been identified as the first accused, followed by producer AK Sunil, Binu, Basheer, Kuttan, and Nivin Pauly, who is the sixth accused. It is believed that complainant reportedly came into contact with Sreya when she was offered a job as a caregiver in Europe. But when the job did not materialise, the complainant asked wanted Sreya to return her money. Sreya then allegedly offered her a role in a movie. The complainant has stated that she was drugged and sexually assaulted, with multiple incidents involving all six accused. These incidents reportedly took place in Dubai last November.

The allegations come after a version of the Justice Hema Committee on harassment faced by women in the Malayalam cinema industry was made public earlier this month.
