His momentum continued in the last set too as he won 6-3.

After the match, Alcaraz acknowledged that it was one of the most significant challenges of his career. “You have to find the joy in suffering… Even more so on clay, here at Roland Garros,” Interestingly, 11 years ago, another Spaniard named Rafael Nadal had that exact thing to say, after beating a great rival of his (Novak Djokovic) in a 5-set semifinal.

He went on to add, “I saw him struggling a little bit. I was cramping, Jannik as well. I learned from last year’s match against Djokovic, in the same position like today, that you have to be calm and keep going.”

At the age of 21, he has become the youngest man to enter the finals of all major grand slams. Would be amazing to see if he can lift the trophy on Sunday. He will be playing the winner of Casper Ruud and Alexander Zverev match which is currently underway.
