‘Doesn’t know how to hold a bat’: Rahul Gandhi takes a dig ICC chairman Jay Shah

The ongoing Bihar Assembly elections is resulting in many war of words. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday launched a sharp attack on the BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. He even took a dig at Home Minister Amit Shah’s son, Jay Shah, during a rally in Bhagalpur ahead of the second phase of polling.
Gandhi targeted the ICC chairman and questioned his credentials. He asked the crowd whether anyone could explain how someone who “doesn’t even know how to hold a bat” is qualified to run Indian cricket.
Gandhi said, “Only if you are the son of Adani, Ambani or Amit Shah, can you dream big. Amit Shah’s son (Jay Shah) doesn’t even know how to hold a bat, forget about scoring a run. But he is the chief of cricket. He controls everything in cricket. Why does he control everything? Because of money”.
