It was a day full of drama as the results of the Indian Lok Sabha elections were being declared. The BJP-led NDA alliance got 292, crossing the halfway mark of 272. On the other hand, the Congress-led INDIA got 236 seats as per the latest numbers. The results were in contrast to the exit polls that predicted NDA getting 300-350 seats and INDIA getting less than 200 seats. Apart from the many reactions, social media was flooded with memes. Nitish Kumar was a part of many of them as his party has the power to decide which government might be formed. Smriti Rani who lost from Amethi, also featured in many memes. Here’s a look at some of the memes that got a lot of traction on social media.
